Cookies

Our website uses “cookies”, which are small files stored on your device to remember specific information about your visit to the site.

These are used for two purposes – firstly to allow you to shop online and view your account.

Secondly, we use Google Analytics to collect information about how people use this site. We do this to make sure it’s meeting its users’ needs and to understand how we could do it better.

Google Analytics stores information about what pages you visit, how long you are on the site, how you got here and what you click on. We do not collect or store your personal information (e.g. your name or address) so this information cannot be used to identify who you are.

You may refuse to accept cookies by activating the setting on your browser which allows you to refuse the setting of cookies. However, if you select this setting you may be unable to access certain parts of our site or shop online. Unless you have adjusted your browser setting so that it will refuse cookies, our system will issue cookies when you visit our site.

Data Storage

We are committed to keeping your data secure. Our security measures include encrypting your data, strong internal policies and training for staff on data security, and regular assessments of our partners’ security systems.

Different retention periods apply for different types of data, however the longest we will normally hold any personal data for is six years from the end of your order or last contact with us – this is for VAT recording requirements.

Information Sharing

To provide you with our services, it is necessary for us to share some of your personal data with our partners. This includes delivery drivers/companies, online payment processors, IT service providers, insurers, credit providers, credit reference bodies (with your consent only), and government bodies or law enforcement agencies when we have a legal obligation to do so or to exercise our legal rights.

We do not share your data with third-parties for marketing purposes.
